Questions
- What is web hosting?
- A place on a server where your website's files and database live, so anyone can open your site at any hour. We run and maintain the server; you manage your site and email yourself from cPanel.
- How much does web hosting cost?
- From ₾15.00 a month, paid in lari by Georgian card or bank transfer. A year costs exactly twelve monthly payments, so starting monthly costs you nothing extra.
- Can I host a WordPress site?
- Yes. WordPress needs PHP and a MySQL database, and every plan has both. Upload WordPress with cPanel's file manager and create its database in the same panel, or write to us and we will help.
- Is it suitable for an online shop?
- For a small shop on WooCommerce or a similar platform, yes. If the shop grows to thousands of products or heavy traffic, a VPS gives it resources of its own, and you can move to one later.
- Web hosting or a VPS: which do I need?
- Web hosting, if you want a website and email without looking after a server: we run the machine and you get cPanel. A VPS, if you need your own server with root access to install whatever you like; administering it is then up to you.
- My domain is registered somewhere else. Is that a problem?
- No. You keep the domain where it is and point it at us; the portal shows exactly what to change. You can also move the domain to us later if you want.
- Can I move an existing site across?
- Yes — upload your files and import your database through cPanel, or write to us and we will help you do it.
- How many sites can I host?
- Minimal holds one site, Standart three, Enterprise ten. If you need more, write to us and we will set it up.
- Do you keep a backup of my site?
- Yes. We back up hosting accounts regularly, so a site can be restored if something goes wrong. Keeping a copy of your own as well is still good practice.
