A virtual server gives you a machine of your own: your operating system, your software, root access, and CPU cores nobody else is using. Shared hosting gives you a folder on a machine somebody else runs.

Most people asking about a VPS should buy shared hosting instead. Here is how to tell which of the two you are.

Buy shared hosting if

  • You are running WordPress, or a shop, or a company site, and it works fine today.
  • You do not want to be the person who applies security updates.
  • The words "root", "systemd" and "nginx config" are not part of your week.

At ₾15 a month it is a third of the price of a VPS and none of the maintenance. A VPS does not make a normal website faster; it makes it your responsibility.

Buy a VPS if

  • You need software that cannot be installed on shared hosting — a Node or Python application, a database with its own tuning, a game server, a bot.
  • You need root, or your own firewall rules, or a specific version of something.
  • Your traffic is spiky and you want cores that are yours during the spike.

What we sell

KVM virtualisation, so the machine really is separate — not a container sharing a kernel with its neighbours. Dedicated cores, not a share of a core that vanishes when the machine next door gets busy. ECC memory, which corrects the single-bit errors that otherwise corrupt data quietly.

What you control

  • Start, stop and restart from your account, and a power-off for when the machine stops answering.
  • A console, for the times when you have locked yourself out over SSH — which everyone does eventually.
  • The Virtualizor panel, for everything else.
  • Firewall rules.

What we do not offer yet

You cannot resize a plan in place. Moving from VPS1 to VPS2 means a new server and moving your data across — we will help, but we are not going to describe it as a click.

We keep no backup of your VPS. None. Whatever is on it is on it, and if you delete something, it is gone. Set up your own backups on the first day, not the day you need them.

There is also no SLA. We do not publish an uptime percentage because we would not be able to stand behind it.

Where it runs

Helsinki, on Hetzner hardware. We measured 83 to 93 milliseconds to Tbilisi networks and published the numbers rather than rounding them. If your application is latency-critical for Georgian users, that is worth knowing before you buy, not after.

Write to us and describe what you are running. We would rather sell you ₾15 hosting that fits than a ₾50 server you did not need — the second one comes back as a cancellation and a bad afternoon for both of us.
